Cardiff Audi has promoted Craig Walters to head of business at its Cardiff Gate centre.
Holder of a Cardiff Business School Diploma in Automotive Retail Management, Craig (pictured right) joined the parent holding group ten years ago and has overseen sales at Cardiff Audi since the franchise was awarded in January 2003.
In that time the business owned by the JD Cleverly family has seen an uplift of 30% in sales of new and used cars and relocated to its current prime location at Cardiff Gate.
It opened in January 2006 as the largest Audi showroom in the UK and is one of just four current flagship centres for the marque.
The promotion from general sales manager gives him overall responsibility for business at the £7.5m facility, which employs 65 staff in sales, aftersales, parts and support operations. He will also spearhead the launch of Audi’s new R8 and A5 models.
