Porsche Cayenne GTS

The new Porsche Cayenne GTS is the first Cayenne to offer the electronically-controlled damping system with steel springs taken from its sports cars.
This lowers the ride and the GTS comes with a 405bhp engine, 20bhp more than in the Cayenne S so it can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 6.1 seconds, precisely 0.5 seconds quicker than the Cayenne S. It will be priced from £54,350 in February.

Volvo C390 ReC

Volvo is developing an innovative plug-in hybrid model.

The ReCharge Concept is a specially designed Volvo C30 with individual electric wheel motors and batteries that can be charged via a regular electrical outlet and will do 124mpg.

Subaru Impreza 2.5WRX

Available from November, the new Subaru Impreza 2.5 WRX turbo will cost £19,995– £1,102 less than the previous model.

The new 230 PS Impreza WRX – which was originally not planned for Europe – will be available in limited numbers prior to the range-topping WRX STI going on sale in spring 2008.
