An international conference on meeting mobility needs in future will be pioneered in London on 11 and 12 October.

Organised by Motability in association with the Forum of Mobility Centres, the Department for Work and Pensions and the Department for Transport, the Debate will provide an opportunity to hear about best practice from around the world, in meeting the personal mobility needs of disabled and older people, to contribute to discussions on both policy and technical issues and to network with all the key players in the mobility field.
For the first time, this event will bring together senior people from Governments at both National and European levels, the automotive industry, vehicle adaptation and conversion specialists, assessment professionals and other key stakeholders.
They will focus on what needs to be done to ensure that we have the vehicles, the technology, the legal framework and the support networks that will be needed to enable our ageing and disabled populations to keep their mobility and independence.
