Nissan will reveal its new sports car at the Tokyo Motor Show on 24 October.
With sales due to start in Japan in December, Nissan is today also confirming the final name of the car. Previous generations of this car were known as the Skyline GT-R; the new name for this car is simply “Nissan GT-R” in all global markets. |

Mini models are now firmly into hybrid car-levels of economy and emissions.
Brake Energy Regeneration, an instantly responsive Stop-Start system, and an in-car gear shift indicator push the car towards a combined 72 miles per gallon target. Autocar achieved 59 mpg during its ‘real-world’ driving test in the Green Grand Prix and this winning result was “impressive (and) achieved with a car barely run-in.”
