No Welsh garages reached the finals of a national competition to find Britain’s best Volkswagen service technicians.

Volkswagen has staged the UK final of its inaugural Service Qualification World Championships, aimed to raise standards in aftersales yet higher across the retailer network and reward the top-performing service advisors and technicians.

Each of Volkswagen UK’s 254 retailers were invited to participate in the event, with all Service Advisors as well as Master Technicians fighting it out to gain the chance to represent the UK in the World Final in Wolfsburg, the company’s international headquarters in Germany early next month.
