Volvo Car UK has released prices for the new entry level 2-litre petrol and diesel engines in the all-new Volvo V70 premium estate and S80 executive saloon due in January.
The petrol derivative will start at £24,995 in the Volvo V70 and £23,495 in the S80, while the diesel power plant is £25,495 and £23,995 in the Volvo V70 and S80 respectively.

A new 1.5 litre engine plus sporty looks and high equipment levels are features of the new Daihatsu Sirion SX at £9,495 on-the-road.
Based on the top-spec Sirion 1.3 SE, the SX adds a larger 103 PS 1.5 litre engine, a deep front spoiler with mesh grille, front fog lamps, side skirts and rear tailgate spoiler. The entire Sirion range benefits from a freshening up with new bumpers and air-intakes, new wheel designs, revised, grippier front seats, plusher cloth trim and improved rear suspension for taughter handling from £7,495.

Hyundai has revealed its highly anticipated Concept Genesis Coupe at the Los Angeles International Auto Show.
The concept car heralds the introduction of an all-new, rear-wheel drive 2+2 sports coupe, which will go on sale in the US in the spring of 2009. It is currently being evaluated for possible sale in the UK.

Nissan has unveiled the all-new Murano due in Britain late next year.
This second generation Murano has been designed as a “super evolution” of the original and gets new exterior and interior, enhanced technology and a new premium driving feel resulting from a new, advanced platform and continued refinement of Murano’s standard 265bhp V6 engine and advanced, second-generation Xtronic CVT.
