German Touring Car double champion Mattias Ekstroem beat seven-times F1 world champion Michael Schumacher in the final Race of Champions decider at Wembley Stadium last night.

Mattias won last year’s event at Stade de France, Paris but last night was the first time the event was held in Wembley infront of about 50,000 race and rally fans.

They saw the ex-Ferrari driver Schumacher team up with Toro Rosso's Sebastian Vettel in a German team which trounced Finland and England in the Nations Cup.
