Destined for the UK in mid-2008 in Coupé and Roadster body styles, the Audi TTS has 272PS Turbo FSI 2.0 petrol engine.
Power is boosted from 200PS to 272PS and its torque from 280Nm to 350Nm, available between 2,500 and 5,000rpm.
Linked to six-speed close ratio transmission, it slingshots the TTS Coupé to 62mph in 5.2 seconds, and on the Autobahn is only curtailed by its electronic limiter at 155mph. Body kit, bigger wheels and four exhaust pipes distinguish the TTS.

SEAT is adding the Leon Cupra K¹ to its range with immediate effect.
It comes with modified front and rear ends, including a centrally placed exhaust, as well as side skirts and it will cost £20,495 while Xenon lights will add a further £870 to the price.
Mechanically it is the same as the regular Leon Cupra and there are no interior trim revisions. It was on the company’s stand at the Autosport International show.

Tata of India has unveiled the world’s cheapest car at the equivalent of £1,250.
The Tata Nano seats four, is 3.1 metres long, 1.5 metres wide and 1.6 metres high.
It is rear-wheel drive with all-aluminium, two-cylinder, 623 cc, 33 PS and there will be two trim levels, standard and luxe. Tata believe they can make and sell a million a year. |
