Two North Wales MCs combined resources to stage a major series of autotests at the Ferodo, Caernarfon plant.

Caerns. & Anglesey MC staged a production car autotest which was won by Wayne Allman and Justin Campbell in a Peugeot 205GTi 1.6 by just 0.66 sec from Lee Barnes and Stephen Roberts in a near identical car. Third was the Vauxhall Nova of Mark Jones and Dave Lampert, just over ten seconds behind.
In the Rhyl & District MC event for modified cars, Duncan Wild comfortably won in his ABS Freestyle while the Autosolo competition went to John North’s VW Passat Tdi 1.9 and the PCA Clubsport category was snapped up by Allman as he warmed up for his Production series.

*The Welsh Association of Motor Clubs will hold its annual presentation dinner tomorrow in Llandrindod Wells when all the major championship winners will receive their awards.
