Staff and customers of Renault Cardiff helped towards the total by signing the giant Christmas card in the showroom before making a donation.
Barnardo’s has three projects in Cardiff. The Supported Housing for Single Young People project provides housing and support for vulnerable young people aged 16 to 21 years. It includes specific services for young black people and young black women who are victims of, or at risk of, domestic abuse.
Cardiff Young Families Service Provides housing and support for vulnerable young families where the primary carer is aged 16 to 21 years.
The Caterpillar Service supports young people aged 14 - 25 who are experiencing or are likely to experience mental health crisis. The service works in partnership with the Mental Health Foundation using individual and group work to help young people, and to raise awareness of the stigma and lack of provision for young people experiencing mental ill health.
