WAMC: Rali Bro Preseli goes to Lewis and Evans

Despite heavy rain there was a good turnout for the annual Rali Bro Preseli.
The TVMC charity event started out from Crymych and crews tackled a testing route during the night, with the wet conditions adding to the challenge.
Setting a blistering pace, and taking a popular win on their home event were local duo Hefin Lewis/Carwyn Evans in their Astra (left), finishing three minutes up on the rest of the field.

Finishing second overall from a starting number of 35, and winning the novice class in the process, were Rhydian George/Reian Jones (right).
Robert Evans/James Evans finished third overall, also winning the semi-expert class, closely followed by Aled Richards/Arwel Jenkins who finished fourth overall.
Rounding off the top five were Chris John/Clive Phillips.

The beginners’ class was won by Gareth Thomas/Richard Jones.
The under 1400 award went to Dewi Davies/Marc Hughes, who finished sixth overall, and Llyr Williams/Gareth Williams scooped the Peugeot crew award, finishing tenth overall.
Top mixed crew were Adam Pickersgill/Stacie Rees and the ladies award went to Pauline Devonald/Sara Evans.
