The Chevrolet Epica will push the brand into the family saloon market this spring.

Set to appear in Chevrolet showrooms from April 26, the Epica costs from £13,595 to £17,695 and comes with 2.0 petrol or diesel engines and an automatic with standard equipment including  air conditioning, cruise control, electric front and rear windows, a CD-stereo with MP3 input socket, remote audio controls, front fog lamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, front, side and curtain airbags and power-adjustable mirrors.

   
 


Making its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month, is the Renault Koleos, its first ever 4x4 crossover.

Designed by Renault, developed by Nissan and manufactured in Renault Samsung Motors' Busan plant in Korea, Koleos will arrive in the UK by the summer with the latest-generation 2.0 dCi Euro 4 diesel engine in two power outputs, 150hp or 175hp and with six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

   
 

The best-selling Passat model, the SE, which accounted for over half of UK sales of the range last year, will be replaced by an all-new variant – the Passat Highline.

Replacing the cloth trim is full Vienna leather upholstery complete with heated front seats, a multifunction steering wheel and a set of four carpet mats.  Prices start at £18,890 for the 1.8-litre TSI 160 PS saloon rising to £22,110 for the top estate.

   
 

A new sleeker Honda Accord is heading for showrooms.

It’s familiar petrol and diesel engines are reworked under the skin but it boasts a new interior and some groundbreaking technology to aid stability and control and Honda wants it to become one of the safest cars in its class as a four door or estate model.
