Verve is basis of new Fiesta   
The new Ford Fiesta is unveiled this morning at the Geneva motor show.

What will be an extremely important model for Ford will be shown in the latest five-door style after three-door version was shown in pictures two weeks ago based on the Verve concept (left). Both will make their public debuts this morning at the Swiss show and they go on sale in the UK this autumn.

   
 LR LRX Black

A striking black and silver version of Land Rover's LRX cross-coupe concept makes its global debut at the show, alongside the original white LRX revealed at NAIAS, Detroit, in January.

"With its metallic black paintwork, silver roof and precisely detailed exterior features, the second version of the LRX concept is designed to show how well the vehicle can deliver a contemporary example of personalisation," says Gerry McGovern, Land Rover's design director. 

   
 Audi Q7 coastline exercise

The world’s most powerful diesel-powered passenger car, the Audi Q7 V12 TDI, will be launched at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show today.
The highly efficient 6.0-litre engine has two turbo chargers to help deliver 1,000Nm torque peak at just 1,750rpm, guaranteeing breathtaking pace, 0-62mph in 5.5 seconds and maximum limited to 155mph with ‘real world’ combined economy of 23.7mpg. Ceramic brakes are standard and last 185,000 miles.

   
 Citroen C5 will sell on technology and quality

Nine years of launching new Citroën models in the UK with large discounts are to come to an end this summer, reports Company Car Driver.

Price promotions will be dropped in favour of a focus on innovative technology and improved production quality when Citroën launches its revised C5 range, although Citroën has no plans to drop cashback offers on existing models.

   
 Fords are good for allergy sufferers
Ford has become the first vehicle manufacturer to receive the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation's Seal of Quality for products that are suitable for allergy sufferers.
The research organisation awarded its sought-after Seal of Quality to six Ford models for their allergy-friendly interiors - the Ka, Focus, C-MAX, Mondeo,
S-MAX and Galaxy.
