Green bus is envy of Europe

Europe’s first tribrid “green” bus was unveiled yesterday.
It is the result of an international collaboration, led and co-ordinated in Wales by the University of Glamorgan with funding from the Energy Savings Trust, sponsorship from the Welsh Assembly Government and the support of industry.

| Development has taken over two years and it has been built in Wales by Dragon Coachworks, Brecon and is intended to start carrying students between campuses in September.
Intensive trials will then begin and the creators hope it will lead to regular production versions inside 18 months.
