In line with its pledge to cut CO2 output from its fleet by 20 per cent by 2012, Audi has just introduced its cleanest A4 TDI model ever, and at the same time launched an all-new 2.0 TFSI engine to complete its efficiency-focused overhaul of the A4 petrol range.

Notable as the compact executive car that will attract the lowest company car tax liability in the premium sector, the new 120PS A4 2.0 TDI is available to order now in Saloon and Avant body styles with standard, SE or S line specification priced from £22,150 OTR.
The powerful 211PS A4 2.0 TFSI with performance-enhancing Audi Valvelift technology is offered in SE or S line forms priced from £24,625 OTR. Both will be delivered to their first UK customers in mid-July.

Britain’s best selling convertible, the Peugeot 207 CC, has just got ‘hotter’.

Citroën is launching an all-new version of the Berlingo Multispace.
With improved equipment levels, reassuring safety technology, a wide choice of engines, extensive space and storage, 50mpg economy and low insurance ratings, the new Multispace drives down the cost of ownership whilst increases buyer satisfaction.
There will be two petrol units and three HDi diesel powerplants, with a new upmarket 110hp 1.6HDi engine. Prices start at £10,995 rising to £14,625.

Hyundai’s i10 is available from September with a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine.
They fall into VED band B, with £35 road tax and ESP becomes a £350 option. Power is up 18 pc to 77PS and torque rises to 118Nm, 20pc more.
Top speed rises to 102mph, the 0-62mph sprint drops three seconds to 12.8sec, CO2 emissions and combined fuel consumption are identical to the 1.1-litre engine at 119g/km and 56.5mpg. Style models also get leather trim. The price of the Style rises by £150 compared with the 1.1-litre to £7,995, and Comfort rises £200 to £7,545. As with all i10 models, air conditioning and a five-year warranty are standard.
