Britain’s most powerful production pick-up has been created by Toyota.

The Hilux Invincible 200 Double Cab is equipped with a Toyota Motor Sport diesel engine so power is up from 169 to 194bhp.

What’s more, the hike in output brings no penalty in fuel consumption or emissions compared to the standard Invincible.

On-the-road price is £21,540 for manual versions and £22,640 for the automatic,

The SsangYong Kyron C-S and Rexton C-S are converted in the UK with the removal of the rear seats to provide a flat load area. Both have four-wheel drive, with the Kyron C-S priced at £13,995 and the Rexton C-S at £15,995 (excluding delivery and first registration charges, and VAT).The Kyron C-S has a payload of 530 kgand a mighty cargo volume of 2,384 litres. The Rexton C-S has a volume of 2,186 litresand an even bigger payload of 740 kg

New Clio Sport Tourer has arrived in the UK.

It has 50pc more boot space than the Clio and is priced just £850 more than the Clio five-door. The 60:40 split-fold rear seats free up additional loading space of up to 1,277 dm³.
Clio Sport Tourer is available in Dynamique trim priced from £12,095 for the 1.2 16V 75 to £14,495 for the dCi 106.

Makers claim the Corvette ZR1 has a top speed of 205 mph, making it the fastest Corvette ever produced and ranking it among the global super cars.

The 6.2 litre Corvette ZR1’s 0-60 performance is 0.3-second quicker than the already-quick Corvette Z06 and the 0-100-mph performance is nearly a full second quicker – 7 seconds vs. the Z06’s 7.9 seconds. It is performance that is equal to or better than many super cars costing substantially more.

The world’s CO₂ champion, the smart fortwo cdi, is coming to Britain.

Sales of the new smart diesel model, which boasts the lowest CO₂ emissions of any current production car worldwide, just 88g/km, will start next year with manufacturing of right-hand drive models commencing in February. Buyers will appreciate the car’s remarkable fuel economy. Fuel consumption on the combined cycle is 85.6mpg.

The smart cdi benefits from a new five-speed semi-automatic transmission offering both fully automatic and manual modes.
