Two Welsh dealerships are in the top ten VW franchises in Britain.
Volkswagen’s top Retailers are heading to the company’s headquarters in Wolfsburg, Germany, to receive a prestigious award in recognition of their performance in customer satisfaction and after sales activities.
Ten Retailers from across the UK have been selected from 100 after sales customer service businesses across Europe to receive the accolades, emphasising Volkswagen’s commitment to after sales and customer satisfaction.
Three small, three medium and three large Retailers were selected for the award, along with one stand-alone Authorised Repairer according to how they scored in the CEM (Customer Experience Management) survey on customer service and first-time fix. This score was then combined with a number of sales and profit criteria to find the winners.
In the small dealership category, Anthony Motors, Aberystwyth won and in the large business sector it was Sinclair Garages, Swansea which picked up the honour.
The accolades will be awarded annually on an ongoing basis, encouraging Retailers to continue to strive to offer the very best in customer care.
Volkswagen UK’s Head of Customer Services and Aftersales, Alison Jones, said, ‘We’re really proud of the ten Retailers who have been selected to go to Wolfsburg and congratulate them for their hard work.
“We’re also delighted that customer service is being given the attention it deserves on an international basis. Nothing is more important in driving our business forward than maintaining a strong base of satisfied, loyal Volkswagen customers.”
The new standards body for garage repairs has appointed Percepta and IDRS to run its complaints and arbitration service with the RAC providing compliance checks.
The new code is gradually being rolled out to the trade before it takes public effect so the businesses know what to expect and how the system will operate before they have to put it into practice.
