New Honda Jazz gives better value

The new Honda Jazz entry level 1.2-litre S is £9,990 but the SE with air con and 15-inch alloys  from £10,990 is expected to be more popular.
Of the 1.4-litre models, from £11,490, the ES with 15-inch alloy wheels, air con, chilled glovebox and VSA is tipped as best-seller. The 1.4 EX with 16-inch alloys, auto lights and wipers, climate control and panoramic sunroof is £12,790. Manuals go on sale in October, the i-SHIFT  auto in January.

   
Sporty Cupra joins the new SEAT Ibiza range

SEAT is expanding its new Ibiza at the forthcoming Paris Motor Show, with the fire-breathing Cupra and ultra-green Ecomotive models.
The Cupra uses a 180 PS 1.4-litre petrol engine, featuring not only a turbocharger but also a supercharger and seven speed box while
Ecomotive is equipped with a frugal 80 PS 1.4 TDI engine with DPF diesel particulate filter and emits just 99gkm CO2.
