Honda has revealed a concept of its affordable family hybrid car, to be displayed at the Paris Motor Show next month.
The five-door, five-seat hybrid car goes on sale in Spring 2009, will be priced significantly lower than any other hybrid car on the market, and will be named Insight, reviving the name of the 1999 hybrid coupe – the first production hybrid car to be sold in Europe.

Mazda Kiyora, a lightweight, next generation, urban compact concept car, will be revealed at Paris.
Joining the Kiyora, the Mazda MX-5 facelift will make its world debut, together with the Mazda6 with MZR-CD 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine, and a Mazda2 with MZ-CD 1.6-litre diesel.

Subaru’s highly-acclaimed new Boxer Diesel engine will appear for the first time in both the new Forester and Impreza at the 2008 Paris Motor Show.
Both the new Forester SUV and Impreza five-door will be unveiled featuring Subaru’s highly-acclaimed new 2.0 litre Boxer Diesel engine. The new Forester Boxer Diesel is on sale in the UK late September and the Impreza Boxer Diesel in January.

Chrysler LLC, the third-largest U.S. automaker, will eliminate either the Dodge Nitro or Jeep Liberty sport-utility vehicle by the end of 2012, according to a sales executive.
North American sales chief Steve Landry was asked on a conference call if the automaker would offer only one of the two vehicles by 2012. He said that was the plan.
