Wales Rally GB, the final round of the FIA World Rally Championship, has purchased carbon credits in a Welsh forestry project in the heart of Snowdonia, as part of its commitment to sustainability in the local community. This goes above and beyond the three projects it has already supported as part of its carbon emissions offset to achieve CarbonNeutral event status. The Welsh Assembly Government's Heritage Minister, Alun Ffred Jones, joined chief executive of Wales Rally GB, Andrew Coe, (left & right) at the forestry project Mynydd-Y-Garnedd, to show his support for the work organisers have done to pave the way for a more sustainable future in the world of motorsport.
