Fitting out has started in a new £2.1m traffic control centre in North Wales.
The North Wales Traffic Management Centre, at the Morfa near Conwy, will provide a home to all agencies responsible for trunk roads in north Wales, including emergency services and should be operational in February.
It will provide a home to Traffic Wales, the Welsh Assembly Government's traffic information service, which monitor and manage the trunk road network.

From there they will use the latest state-of-the-art equipment, such as a rear projection video wall in the control room.
Traffic Wales will monitor and manage all of the CCTV, Emergency Telephone systems, and electronic message signs around the clock, every day of the year. The Centre will also be the nerve centre for the control of all safety systems within the tunnels network from Pen y Clip near Llanfairfechan to the Conwy Tunnel.
It is anticipated that eventually some 60 people will operate from the centre.
