Rudolf rests as Renault take the reins

 | | | Renault dealer Slaters is giving Santa and his
reindeers a helping hand this Christmas by providing the pulling power
for his toy-laden sleigh.
The dealership is loaning a Renault Koleos, Renault’s first
ever 4x4 crossover, to tow Santa’s sleigh as he ‘flies’ around Abergele
and the surrounding areas collecting money for Abergele Rotary and
Round Table.
As well as its genuine off-road ability, the Renault Koleos is the ideal tow car although this is certainly a more unusual load!
The sleigh starts its journey from outside the dealership on Market Street every evening until Monday, 22 December.
As
the sleigh travels around the town, Santa and his team of helpers,
which includes the local Scout group, will be knocking on doors asking
for donations from the public. Slaters is also long-standing supporters
of the fundraising scheme having provided a vehicle to pull the sleigh
for almost 30 years.
Steve Danzi, Sales Manager at Slaters Renault, said, “We’re
delighted to be once again helping out such a worthy cause and hope
people will give generously when they see Santa’s sleigh pass their
home. Our target for this year is £1,000 so we need people to dig deep.” |
