A high performance concept of the new Alfa MiTo, the Alfa MiTo GTA, will be starring at next week’s Geneva Show.
Considerable work has gone into lowering the vehicle’s centre of
gravity; thus certain components such as the tailgate spoiler, roof and
mirror fairings are in carbon-fibre; while aluminium is used
extensively in the braking system, suspension, and some parts of the
chassis. Under the bonnet, an exciting new petrol engine, powers the new GTA Concept.
Designed by Fiat Powertrain Technologies it produce a 240bhp from 1742cc.
Pricing for
the all-new Honda Insight has been announced.
The entry level SE model is available from £15,490. The ES grade is expected to be
the best seller from £16,790. It has 16-inch alloy wheels, auto lights and wipers, cruise
control, front fog lights, heated front seats, leather steering wheel and gear
knob, paddle shift, privacy glass and USB port for MP3 players.
Hands Free Telephone and DVD Satellite Navigation
come as standard on the £18,390 ES-T model which is a high specification car
that's likely to prove popular in the fleet market where Honda has high hopes in view of the emissions taxes.
