Lampeter MC members with their charity cheques

Lampeter and District MC has given £3,700 to Welsh charities.

It split the money between the Wales Air Ambulance and LATCH charities after it was raised by a sponsored bed push.

Aneurin Heath accepted the cheque for the Air Ambulance and club member Keith Daniels accepted the second cheque to LATCH.

The motor club would also like to thank the rugby club in Lampeter for the use of the room on the night of the presentation as well as all the members who helped push the bed from Lampeter to Aberaeron.

All the sore feet and blisters endured by many now seemed well worth it with the raised money hopefully again helping to save someone's life.                       ©Image Gary Jones

This weekend sees the Cyprus Rally (12 - 15 March) offer the first opportunity this year for the FIA World Rally Championship contenders to find their feet on gravel, it is the asphalt mountain speed tests that offer a step into the unknown for drivers.
