 | The new
2010 Range Rover, new 2010 Range Rover Sport and new Discovery 4 will have
their UK public debut at the 2009 Motorexpo, which runs until
Sunday, 14 June in Canary Wharf.
The
significant improvements to these vehicles include: two new refined and
powerful engines, delivering improved fuel economy and CO2 emissions, striking
exterior design changes, and completely redesigned interiors bringing new
levels of refinement, technology and craftsmanship. Prices
for the 2010 Range Rover on sale from mid July will be from £64,695 to
£80,000. Prices of the other models will be released later closer to their on sale dates towards the autumn. | | | | | Abarth Grande Punto and Abarth 500 owners will now be able to enhance their
cars even further, following the introduction of stylish new sports seats.
The
seats, called ‘Abarth Corse by Sabelt', are the result of co-operation between
the two sporting Italian brands. Available in two versions - Frau black leather
with fretworked black Alcantara, or black "F1" technical fabric - the seats are
finished with red thread seams, a distinctive embroidered Abarth name, and the
Scorpion Logo on the backrest tilt wheel. Initially available on the Abarth
Grande Punto, the seats are priced at £2250 per pair (leather) or £1760 per pair (fabric). | | | | | Climbing into a car that's been parked
for a while on even a moderately sunny day can be an uncomfortable experience
and is likely to provoke full-blast operation of the air conditioning, using up
fuel and increasing emissions.
Toyota
has solved the problem with a new solar-powered ventilation system that keeps
the interior cool, with no need for the engine to be running. And to make sure
the temperature is just right before you get inside, it has produced the
world's first Remote Air Conditioning control, operated using the car's key
fob. New Prius is on sale from 1 August, from £18,370 and the
Solar Pack option is £1,450. |
