| Abarth is
continuing its tradition of building accessible competition machinery with the
unveiling of its new Abarth 500 R3T rally car.
Revealed
for the first time at this month's 51st San Remo Rally, the Abarth 500 R3T will
feature in a one-make rallying trophy in 2010. The European and Italian
Trophies for the Abarth 500 Assetto Corse circuit racer will continue.
For
Abarth, the new car marks a return to a discipline in which it has been present
for more than 30 years. Starting in 1977 with the first edition of the
Autobianchi A112 Abarth Championship, Abarth continued with the Fiat Uno, Uno
Turbo, Cinquecento, Seicento, Punto Kit and Super 1600, Stilo and Panda Kit
Trophies. | | |
| The latest version of Honda's sporty
hybrid concept will be revealed at October's Tokyo Motor Show.
The
CR-Z Concept 2009 is the most recent prototype of a compact, agile coupe using
Honda's IMA technology. When the production version goes on sale in the UK next
summer 2010, it will be the world's first sports hybrid car, and the first ever
petrol-electric vehicle to employ a 6-speed manual transmission.

| Suzuki is extending its zero-percent finance offers
available on Swift, Splash, SX4 and Grand Vitara SZ models until
the end of this year.
With the government
scrappage scheme now extended, customers purchasing a Swift, Grand Vitara, SX4
or Splash can use their 10 year old "banger" towards the deposit on their new
car and still benefit from 0% APR. For example, a new Swift 1.5 GLX 3
door is available with a deposit (after £2,000 scrappage allowance) of £1,060
followed by 36 monthly payments of just £198 per month. |
