Welsh salesman is a Diamond geezer

 | Renault Swansea’s used car team was honoured at this year’s Renault Retail Diamond Club award ceremony.
John Lea from the dealership on Swansea Enterprise Park accepted the
award for “Best used sales manager and team in the nationwide
manufacturer-owned group.
The theme of this year’s ceremony was “pride” and the event was held at
the Four Pillars Hotel in South Cerney, Gloucestershire to reward staff
achievement in the manufacturer-owned group which has more than 20
outlets in cities across the UK.
The event was hosted by Miss England, Katrina Hodge,e and Miss Renault Retail Group, Rachel
Christie. Former international football referee Graham Poll
was also present with anecdotes and stories from his 26-year career to
complement the award presentations.
Ian Plummer, Managing Director of Renault Retail Group, said, “The
Diamond Club was created three years ago to reward high performance in
quality, profit and volume.
“Everyone at the ceremony has put in huge effort, total commitment and
skill to ensure that we reach our targets and the goals that we set
ourselves. I would like to thank each member of staff for their
dedication and their fantastic achievements throughout 2009.”
