High efficiency Polo BlueMotion now on sale

The new Polo BlueMotion is available to order from Volkswagen Retailers with prices starting at £14,445 for the three-door, and £15,045 for the five-door model.

The new Polo BlueMotion adopts an all-new highly advanced 1.2-litre TDI three-cylinder common rail diesel engine developing 75 PS, and 133 lbs ft (180 Nm) of torque available from just 2,000 rpm.
This new engine, combined with longer gearing through the five-speed manual gearbox, regenerative braking and an automatic Start/Stop system, help the new Polo BlueMotion emit just 91 g/km of CO2 while returning an impressive 80.7 mpg on the combined cycle. This grants the new Polo BlueMotion a theoretical range of over 800 miles on one tank of diesel.
These technological enhancements are accompanied by several cosmetic changes designed to maximise efficiency. Comprising bespoke bumpers, side skirts and an extended roof spoiler along with 15-inch ‘Greenland’ alloy wheels fitted with low rolling resistance tyres, they contribute towards making the new Polo BlueMotion among the most efficient vehicles currently available in the UK.
The Polo BlueMotion accelerates from a standstill to 62 mph in 13.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 107 mph.
Comfort levels remain high with manual air conditioning, cruise control and leather steering wheel fitted as standard. As with all models in the Polo range, a number of safety features are also fitted, including four airbags, ABS and ESP (Electronic Stabilisation Programme).
The Polo BlueMotion is available to order at Volkswagen Retailers now with the first cars expected in May.

Ford will be giving the all-new C-car its European debut at next month's Geneva show, alongside final versions of C-MAX and Grand C-MAX which go on sale this year.
There are also further powertrain enhancements for the Ford Kuga and Mondeo and more options revealed for the new S-MAX and Galaxy.

New engine material in latest Infiniti

Phase two of Infiniti’s quiet assault on the European luxury car market is underway with the arrival of a unique and newly developed 3.0-litre V6 diesel.
The 238ps Compacted Graphite Iron engine, the first diesel in the brand’s 20 year history, has been specifically designed to deliver high levels of refined performance in line with Infiniti philosophy and it will initially be available in both the acclaimed EX and FX crossovers and later in the Infiniti M luxury performance sedan.

Honda has re-launched its popular 0% APR finance offer on Jazz in the last month of the Scrappage Scheme.
It has been Honda’s biggest seller via the Scrappage Scheme, with over 7,300 cars sold and the new hire purchase finance package enables customers to take advantage of 0% finance for two years, with 35% deposit and 24 monthly repayments starting from £299.
The finance offer is also available to non-scrappage customers, and given the Jazz’s high repeat purchase rate (63%) this could be the ideal time for existing Jazz customers to update their current model.
Finance incentive sounds good for Jazz
