One of the main North to South Wales roads will be undergoing roadworks for nine weeks from 1 March with overnight closures on occasions.
The Highways Agency is planning to commence works on the northbound A483, near Pant, south of Wrexham, to resurface the road and footpaths to improve safety. Temporary traffic lights will be used to control traffic flow when necessary and working hours will be 06.00 to 20.00 hrs. A full closure of the road will be required over three to four nights during the work but a diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A fifth of drivers anonymously admitted to lying about their children being the main driver of a car, simply to get lower premiums.
