Available from the 1 March, 2010, Jeep’s latest special edition model will attract a lot of interest from new buyers wanting to test drive the luxurious Grand Cherokee Overland Tech. Customer demand for even more lavishly equipped 4x4 vehicles has led to a new special edition Jeep Grand Cherokee being introduced. Priced at £33,450, the Grand Cherokee Overland Tech is extremely well equipped and offers customers fantastic value for money combined with Jeep’s legendary four-wheel-drive capability. Only 115 models will be made available. The Jeep Grand Cherokee range now includes four models; Limited, Overland, SRT-8 and the new Overland Tech. The popular 3.0-litre, six cylinder diesel engine in the Grand Cherokee Overland Tech, produces 215 bhp and 376 Ib ft of torque to give the Grand Cherokee a top speed of 124 mph. Grand Cherokee Overland Tech goes from to 62.5 mph in 9.7 seconds. The Grand Cherokee Overland Tech is brimming with a whole host of high tech equipment – sunscreen glass, 18 inch alloy wheels, xenon headlamps, front and rear park assist, rear back-up camera and rain sensitive automatic windscreen wipers. The elegant and luxurious theme continues inside with leather trimmed seats, real Walnut Burlwood accents, power front seats, electric windows, dual-zone air conditioning, power sunroof and heated door mirrors. Heated front and rear seats plus the rear DVD entertainment system add the final luxury touch to an interior that is high tech, exclusive and well appointed. The Grand Cherokee Overland Tech also features a state-of-the-art vehicle infotainment system with a 276-watt premium sound system with six Boston Acoustics speakers and a 3D satellite navigation system with a 30GB hard drive and Bluetooth connectivity. | Pricing for the new Fiat Doblo range has been confirmed. The all-new Doblo – just three per cent of components are carried over from the out-going model launched nine years ago – has been designed specifically for ever-more demanding customers and their families. The new car is more spacious, more comfortable, even safer, superior to drive and better equipped. With a starting price of £12,295 OTR for the 1.4 16v 95 Active, the new Doblo range represents outstanding value for money. Among the equipment that entry-level cars receive as standard are ESP with Hill Holder; driver, front passenger and side airbags; electric windows, radio/CD player, remote central locking and body-coloured door mirrors with repeater flashers. Prices rise through three trim levels – Active, Dynamic and Eleganza – to £17,145 OTR for the 2.0 16v MultiJet 135 Eleganza. That price includes as standard, electric rear windows, front foglights, leather steering wheel and gear knob, 16-inch alloy wheels, rigid parcel shelf and Blue&Me, Fiat’s hands-free infotainment system. A full range of options include automatic climate control with rear distribution, cruise control, rear parking sensors, anti-whiplash front headrests and dark tinted rear windows, while different Option Packs are also available.
