 | LUXGEN, the first automobile brand from Taiwan, has successfully finished its international debut in 2009 Dubai Motor Show.
The six/ seven seat LUXGEN MPV is targeting emerging markets around the
world including the Middle East, Central America, Russia, China and
South East Asia.
LUXGEN is a premium automotive brand established in 2008 by Taiwan’s
Yulong Group. Founded in 1949, Yulon group’s business operation
includes automobile R&D and manufacturing, textile manufacturing,
IT and high tech R&D and manufacturing, real estate development,
financial service and investment, publishing and many more.
Yulon Group’s automobile manufacturing operation began in 1953, and has
grown steadily over the years to become Taiwan’s largest automobile
manufacturer, with production plants located in Taiwan, Mainland China
and Philippines supplying the local markets with over 2 million quality
vehicles produced in association with Nissan, Mitsubishi, GM, Chrysler,
Mercedes-Benz and more. | | | |  | Jeep is offering off-road enthusiasts the
opportunity to build their own ‘bespoke’ Wrangler with the launch of a
Special Order Programme, designed to give customers greater
individuality for their cars. Customers can now order a new
two-door Wrangler or four-door Wrangler Unlimited in a number of
colour, trim and engine combinations, and with a range of extras
including a 3.73 axle ratio for rock crawling, electronic front sway
bar disconnect and an electronic locking rear axle. The two-door
Jeep Wrangler and long-wheelbase four-door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
range starts from just £19,650 and is powered by a 2.8 diesel engine or
3.8 V6 petrol engine, rising to £25,750. | | |  | To meet strong demand for the popular Mazda6
from both retail and fleet customers, Mazda Motors UK is bringing
forward the ‘on sale' date for the upgraded Mazda6 models for 2010. The
new 19-strong range features refreshed exterior and interior styling,
additional equipment and a range of significant technical enhancements
that improve fuel economy by up to 6.4 percent and reduced CO2
emissions by up to 6.1 percent. Customers will be offered a choice
of hatchback and estate, six engines (three petrol and three diesel)
and four equipment levels - S, TS, TS2, and Sport from mid-March. Improved
fuel economy, lower Road Fund Licence bands and reduced Benefit In Kind
costs offer buyers significant savings while prices for the new Mazda6
are increased by an average of just 4.8 percent ranging from £16,990 to
£23,445 on-the-road. | | |
