Movano picks up mobility role with new conversion

Gowrings Mobility, the UK’s leading manufacturer and
supplier of wheelchair accessible vehicles, has launched its latest
conversion, the Vauxhall Movano.
This conversion is also designed and built with the needs of the
wheelchair passengers as priority, with other ambulant passengers
fitting in around them. The short wheelbase Vauxhall Movano has been converted
to provide flexible seating combinations of up to three wheelchair
users, three seated passengers and the driver, or seven seated
passengers and the driver. |  | | The three wheelchair positions are located in prime
position for access, vision and space. Wheelchair access is via a Ricon
inboard lift, which has been cleverly offset so that carers do not have
to twist and turn to manoeuvre the wheelchair passengers in, and so
that they can sit next to the rear wheelchair user if required. | | | |
