Independents to be briefed on developing business opportunitiesStarting 21 June 2010, Head of RMI Independent Garages, David Moran, will be travelling the length and breadth of the country, offering RMI members the opportunity to attend a two hour seminar, covering subjects such as training and diagnostics, hybrid cars and security information. David said, "I am keen to develop the membership of RMI by providing them with access to information, training and services to help develop their businesses and profitability, as well as raising consumer awareness of their membership and services. These seminars are the first step of many to achieve this." Attendees will be able to meet, and ask questions of the RMI's new Head of Independent Garages, and get to know the man who's representing them, as well as learning more about what RMI has planned for the future. David says, 'My big issues are communication and accessibility.' The five seminars, across the country, will allow all those who attend to get to know David, and provide a clearer insight into the aims of RMI IndependentGarages. ● A selection of free point of sale materials is now available to help tyre dealers and garages explain to customers why they are charged a recycling fee for the disposal of tyres removed from their vehicle. The posters and leaflets focus on the wide range of uses and applications for recycled tyre materials such as synthetic sports pitches, children's playground surfaces and fuel sources for cement kilns. |
