 | Enthusiasts in the UK can enhance their cars and enjoy improved performance and handling
with Solomon Alsberg’s new Eco Super Light forged alloy wheels.
Following a three-year period of testing and development, the premium
wheel specialist has optimised its design and manufacturing techniques
to produce a strong, stylish and highly durable wheel that weighs up to
35 percent less than its cast counterpart. | The result is a considerable reduction to the vehicle’s unsprung weight,
allowing the driver to experience sharper handling, improved steering
feel and quicker acceleration, while reducing fuel consumption and CO2
emissions by over ten percent in stop-go driving conditions.
Available in an array of striking designs, Solomon Alsberg’s wheels are
styled and finished in Russia from blanks supplied by Alcoa, one of the
world’s leading manufacturers of forged alloy wheels, whose customers
include luxury and high performance car makers such as Aston Martin and
Ferrari.
The unique process used to forge the alloy blanks allows for class
leading strength and reliability, while fashioning the wheels from
standard blanks provides Solomon Alsberg with the opportunity to create a
wide range of different styles.
It is also looking for UK distributors. | | | |  | Alpine Electronics of U.K. Ltd has released the INE-S900R “ONE LOOK” NAVI, a 2DIN
navigation/multimedia unit.
The INE-S900R has an interface that allows drivers to display two
applications of their choice on the screen, so they can see exactly what
they want, depending on the driving situation. This extremely easy to
use interface offers the ability to combine Alpine’s advanced navigation
features with Bluetooth phone use, rear camera views, and much more. |

The INE-S900R provides a choice of views: full screen or main and side
screens. The dual-screen mode gives the user two clear views with just
“one look” and is fully customisable.
The user first decides what should be shown on the main screen, for
example the basic navigation map, and then chooses from among many
possibilities for the side screen, such as a second navigation view,
information on each iPod song, incoming phone calls, clock, etc. |
