Peugeot Light Commercial vehicles from the Bipper Van to the Peugeot Boxer are now covered by a 100,000 mile warranty. The Peugeot Bipper, Partner, Expert and Boxer range of Peugeot Light Commercial Vehicles including Motorhomes and Converted vehicles, but excluding the 207 van, now benefit from a 100,000 mile warranty. The Tepee derivatives and Tepee based conversions such as the Expert Taxi, which are classified as passenger cars, retain the original warranty mileage limit of 60,000 miles. Ford and AA DriveTech are helping Ford drivers to save fuel by offering specialised driver training. The Econo Driver Training course is dedicated to fuel economy driving tuition and now available for Ford owners who have participated in the Ford Econo Check programme. An Econo Check consists of a 35-point vehicle inspection at a Ford dealer and the installation of a small data logger which monitors driving style and fuel economy for seven days. The driver training is provided throughout the UK by highly qualified AA DriveTech instructors. New-car sales fell 12pc France, 26pc Italy and 24pc Spain last month as government-funded incentives faded, says AutoBeat Europe, quoting government and industry association reports. Volume in July dropped to 169,800 cars in France, reports CCFA. Demand fell to 152,800 in Italy, according to the Transport Ministry. Sales declined to 82,200 units in Spain, according to ANFAC. Analysts say demand is likely to slow even more in the second half as European consumers postpone purchases in response to government austerity budgets.  |
