| Renault Cardiff’s search to help to find the Welsh Mum
of the Year came to an end when Fay Ford was chosen as the winner in
the first ever Real People of Wales Awards. The awards were organised in aid of Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice which offers comfort, care and support for life-limited children and young people and raised £28,000 for the hospice. She was one of hundreds of mums who were nominated before being selected as one of three finalists and the public voted through the Real Radio website. Mrs Ford was described by her nominee as, “a truly amazing woman, incredible wife, mother and super nanny”. | ![]() |
