Ford is launching the most stylish and technologically advanced Mondeo model ever.

With a fresh, restyled exterior, an enhanced interior, plus new high-efficiency Ford EcoBoost petrol and TDCi diesel powertrains and a host of new driver comfort and convenience features and safety technologies, the new Mondeo completes the rejuvenation of Ford's large car range, and takes its position as the flagship model in the company's European portfolio.
Mondeo Wagon updated as well
Following significant updates to the Ford S-MAX and Galaxy models earlier this year, the new Mondeo on sale in September/October is the latest Ford car to benefit from the continuing evolution of Ford kinetic design.
New Mondeo will see the first application of a higher performance 240PS derivative of the efficient new 2.0-litre Ford EcoBoost turbocharged petrol engine, joining the existing 203PS version of this engine, introduced in Mondeo, new S-MAX and new Galaxy earlier in 2010.
The latest Mondeo also introduces a comprehensively revised version of the 2.2-litre Ford Duratorq TDCi diesel engine, which boasts a 12 per cent power increase to 200PS, making it the most powerful Ford Duratorq diesel engine so far.
New 1.6-litre engines from the Ford EcoBoost petrol and Duratorq TDCi diesel engine families will be available in the future to extend the wide powertrain choice even further.
Central to this is the application of a fresh look for both body styles available in the UK - five door and wagon - to distinguish the new model. Ford's design team set out to emphasise further the kinetic design signatures in each body style while incorporating new technologies such as LED lighting.
Fresh interior treatment for new MondeoThe interior of the new Mondeo has also been comprehensively reworked to give it a higher level of quality and sophistication through meticulous attention to detail, and by employing new, higher quality trim materials.
UKprices will be carried over from the existing Mondeo pricelist starting at £17,295.
The high-level Titanium series will increase by £200 to £19,945 to reflect new features.

Lexus upgraded again for new model yearSporty, smooth and unmistakeably Lexus, the IS has undergone its most significant revisions since the current generation model was launched in 2005.
Changes for the 2011 model year, to be formally revealed at the Paris motor show, are not simply a matter of sharper styling: Lexus has gone to the heart of the ownership experience to make the IS an even more appealing prospect, not least to those choosing it as a company car.
Central to this strategy is the introduction of the new IS 200d, which delivers improved fuel economy, lower emissions and reduced tax bills.
Replacing the previous IS 220d, it is available to order now, priced from £24,350 (IS 200d SE) on the road.
The V6 petrol engine featured in the IS 250 and IS 250C coupe-convertible with six-speed automatic transmission has also been revised to meet future Euro5 emissions standards, achieving better fuel economy and CO2 emissions with no penalty in performance.
Focus of the styling changes is the F-Sport grade, which now echoes even more loudly the looks of its ultra-high-performance sister, the IS F, to strengthen its appeal among younger drivers.
Meanwhile all IS models equipped with high-intensity discharge (HID) headlights gain LED daytime running lights and across the range there are new wheel designs, new rear light designs and a revised choice of exterior colours.
Prices rise from the new IS200d SE at £24,350 to £30,485 for the IS250 SE-L while the IS250C SE-I is £35,996 and the IS250C SE-L is £40,941 and can be ordered now.
