The public will be able to enjoy access to eye-catching Swansea Metropolitan University locations this weekend, as the institution takes part in the city’s Open House event.

The School of Automotive Engineering, which is home to 320 students, offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in subjects such as motorsport engineering and design, motorsport technology, automotive engineering, and motorcycle engineering.
It has an extensive range of high-spec industry equipment which allows its students to gain real-world experience and increases the chances of achieving prominent employment.
The tour will not only cover the School of Automotive Engineering but also Swansea Met’s School of Logistics and Manufacturing Engineering, who offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses in mechanical and manufacturing engineering, lean and agile manufacturing, non-destructive testing and evaluation, transport and supply chain management and motorsport management.
Academics from the School will conduct a tour of their Cadogan Centre home, a part of Swansea Met’s Mount Pleasant campus, starting at 11am on Sunday 12 September.
