Land Rover in Cardiff is inviting local drivers to register for an exclusive
opportunity to drive the marque's most fuel-efficient vehicle to date - the
2011 Model Year Freelander.
For
2011 the Freelander gains a range of interior and exterior enhancements, as
well as a new 2.2-litre diesel engine - available as
a TD4 150hp or a more powerful SD4 190hp variant - which is 2 decibels quieter
and delivers lower CO2 emissions (14% for automatic versions and 7% for
manual versions) than the outgoing version.
Dealer
Principal Lyn Vaughan (above) said, "On Monday October 4 2010 for five days we are
offering discerning local drivers an opportunity to book a first drive in the
2011 Freelander and experience its increased performance, improved fuel economy
and more luxurious interior for themselves before it goes on sale in the UK."
The
new Freelander 2 TD4 manual achieves 45.6mpg combined and comes with intelligent Stop/Start technology as standard. A new
front bumper and grille, as well as new 18" and 19" Sparkle Silver alloy
wheels, refresh and enhance its contemporary looks, whilst the SD4 version also gains a brighter finish front grille,
as well as body coloured mirror caps, washer jets, side sills and rear bumper
sill.
Inside, the Freelander 2 has been refreshed and HSE drivers have
the option of a Premium Pack for an even more refined seating plan, including
softer, more supple Windsor Leather upholstery available in new ivory and tan
colours, together with premium carpet mats. |
