Prius has turned street-sharp with front, rear and side skirts, 17-inch smoked-finish alloys and dark-tinted privacy glass.
The new look belongs to a special edition model that celebrates the world-beating hybrid's first 10 years in the UK.
It  is every bit as fuel-frugal and tax-friendly as its more sober-suited stablemates, with 70.6mpg and 92g/km combined cycle consumption and CO2 emissions.
Black special edition Prius marks anniversary

Prius's birthday makeover extends to the car's interior, too, with high-quality black leather upholstery, embossed with the 10th anniversary logo.
In other respects, Prius 10th Anniversary shares the same equipment specification as the top-of-the-range T Spirit model, so comes equipped with HDD satellite navigation (with integrated sound library), rear parking monitor, Bluetooth, Intelligent Park Assist, cruise control, smart entry and start, rain-sensing wipers and head-up display.
Only 1,000 examples are to be built, making this the most exclusive production Prius yet. White Pearl or Astral Black exterior paint finishes are available, and the on-the-road price is £26,150, Orders are being taken now, with first deliveries to customers this winter.

Jetta has made its European debut at an event held at the home of FC Bayern Munich, the Allianz Arena.
Styled by Klaus Bischoff, Head of Volkswagen Design, it adopts the latest iteration of Volkswagen's design language seen recently on the new Polo, Passat and Sharan.
New look Jetta comes early 2011

In addition, the new Jetta has grown in length by 90 mm to measure 4,644 mm with its wheelbase extended by 70 mm to 2,648 mm.  The result is a 67 mm increase in rear legroom over the outgoing car.
New Jetta models in Europe feature the sophisticated four-link suspension system similar to that fitted to the Golf.  This differs from the setup of the outgoing model with the new Jetta featuring a wider track at the rear as well as revised springs and dampers.
The sixth generation of the Jetta offers greater efficiency and fewer emissions with a range of advanced petrol and diesel forced induction engines.  The range includes a pair of 1.4-litre TSI engines, developing 122 PS and 160 PS, and two diesel engines with a 1.6-litre TDI 105 PS and a 2.0-litre TDI developing 140 PS.  The 1.6-litre TDI unit will feature BlueMotion Technology modifications including Stop/Start and battery regeneration.
Sales of the new Jetta in the UK will commence early 2011 with prices and specifications announced nearer this time.
