Deliveries of the new Jensen Interceptor R have started at Oxfordshire-based manufacturer and restorer Jensen International Automotive (JIA), which set up business in May last year.

The Jensen Interceptor R is JIA's modern interpretation of the much loved British classic from the swinging ‘60s and glamorous ‘70s.
Each Interceptor R is hand-built from an original donor car, refurbished and treated to modern specifications, boasting a GM Corvette LS3 V8 engine, independent rear suspension, brand-new transmission and braking systems, and a luxurious new interior.
Jensen is back from £105,000
Jensen International Automotive has the financial backing and know-how of Carphone Warehouse's founder and chairman Charles Dunstone, who joined its board of directors earlier last year.
‘Seeing the first Interceptor grand tourers of 2011 being delivered is a great way to start the year,' said Tony Banham, JIA's Managing Director. ‘Our current production facilities are capable of achieving quality levels completely unattainable only a couple of years ago. We have managed to produce a modern Jensen without compromising on its spirit or heritage.'
Jensen International Automotive has appointed Angie Voluti Consultancy to head its PR and Media functions in the UK, with immediate effect.
The new Jensen Interceptor R, powered by a 6.2 V8 producing 429bhp, can reach a top speed of 160mph and hit 0-60mph in less than 4.5sec. Prices start from £105k, with a five-month building schedule.

Customer deliveries of the new seven-seat Mazda5 1.6 diesel start in January 2011 and the model has among the best residual values in the compact multi-activity vehicle segment.

The arrival of the 1.6-litre 115ps 138g/km turbo diesel unit, which is available in TS2 or Sport trim, completes the Mazda5 line-up following the launch of 1.8 and 2.0-litre petrol engine derivatives last autumn.
Strong residual value forecast for Mazda5 diesel
The Mazda5 1.6D TS2 costs £20,650 on the road and the 1.6D Sport £21,950. Company car drivers will pay 19 percent benefit-in-kind tax in 2010/11 on a P11D value of £20,485 and £21,785 respectively.
Residual value experts at CAP have described the Mazda5 as a ‘best kept secret' in comparison with rivals in the burgeoning market sector, which include the Citroen C4 Grand Picasso, Ford Grand C-MAX, Peugeot 5008, Renault Grand Scenic and Vauxhall Zafira.
CAPpredicts that the 1.6D Sport will retain 32percent of its value at the three-year/60,000-mile benchmark giving the model a value of £7,000, while the TS2 will retain 31 percent of its value over the same period giving a value of £6,375. Pence per mile operating costs, according to CAP are 36.55p for the Sport and 35.38p for the TS2.
That means that residual values are ahead of much of the competition including the models from Citroen, Peugeot, Renault and Vauxhall.
