A new model joins Vauxhall's Astra range which squarely targets similarly-priced five-door hatch rivals by offering levels of standard equipment and trim not usually seen outside the options list.
ES Tech Astra is new to the range
Starting at just £18,110 for the 140PS 1.4-litre Turbo model, the ES Tech comes as standard with a CD500 Satnav system including CD player, MP3, USB, iPod control, seven speakers and aux-in socket, Bluetooth, a DAB radio, 17-inch alloy wheels and aircon.
This complements the already generous level of standard equipment found in most Astra models, such as curtain airbags, ESP, daytime running lights, cruise control and steering wheel-mounted audio controls.

Several new MINI models have been announced.

Coming just months after the launch of the MINI Countryman and the new MINI Family, MINI has announced that the MINI Cooper SD will be the most powerful diesel variant in the MINI line-up.
The new 2.0 litre/143hp available in all MINI body types - Hatch, Convertible, Clubman and Countryman will deliver more power, frugal fuel consumption and lower CO2 emissions.
Fastest Mini diesel carries Cooper name

Also launching in the UK in March is a new Special Edition MINI Clubman, the MINI Clubman Hampton and a new Special Edition Hatch, the MINI Pimlico. A new Sports Pack option will add spice to the Hatch and Convertible ranges.

Frugal, stylish and sharp to drive, it's no surprise that the Mk VII Ford Fiesta is Britain's best selling car.
Yet with a mere 88 bhp on tap from the popular 1.6 TDCi variant, raised to 95 bhp on March 2010 onwards versions, few would ever call it pacy or exciting.
But now Superchips, the world's leading automotive ECU remapping enterprise, can remedy this situation with an affordable, performance boosting upgrade.
More power and economy from chipped Fiesta

This ECU remap provides a 23bhp gain for both the 88 bhp and later 95 bhp versions of the hugely popular Fiesta 1.6 TDCi, as well as boosting fuel efficiency.
Superchips ECU remaps are available now directly from Superchips and its UK dealer network, priced at £399.00, including installation and VAT.
