The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X has been cut by £800 to make it more
competitive against rivals.
With its Super-All Wheel Control (S-AWC) and Twin Clutch Sports Shift
Transmission (TC-SST), the Lancer Evolution X has always been impressive, but
now it retails from £29,699. | | Having sold over 6,000 Evolutions since the year
2000, the legendary Evolution X remains extremely popular and in addition to
its competitive front-end price, the Evolution X FQ-300 SST retains a strong
residual value. | | | | MUGEN Euro is developing a highly-tuned version of Honda's
CR-Z, which will deliver "Type R-like" performance from the hybrid's
petrol-electric powertrain - and may offer even better fuel economy.
This faster, more powerful car will make its world debut at the Goodwood
Festival of Speed in July but Honda say there are currently no plans for a
production model.
| | The CR-Z MUGEN will feature enhancements to both the 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol
engine and the Honda IMA system to boost power and torque, while bespoke brakes
and suspension will be fitted to improve the chassis dynamics together with
revised bodywork.
