Tom Naughton and Horace Saville claimed their first win of the season on the Swansea Bay Rally last weekend.

The pair stamped their authority on the opening three stages; Jamie Anderson and Ella Flynn fought back with scratch times on the remaining three stages but it was not enough to deny Naughton and Saville the victory.

Martin Cairns and Andrew Purcell were third after submitting a late entry. Meanwhile reigning champions and championship leaders Alex Allingham and Mark Glennerster were fourth ahead of 18-year-old Dan O'Brien on his second championship event.

In the Historic category the win went to Richard Lane and Frank Richer in a Ford Escort. Graham Waite and Gill Cotton won Overall Post Historic (Category 1) with the Volvo Amazon, David Stokes and Guy Weaver taking the Overall Classic in the Ford Escort RS1600.
