The Commons Transport Committee of MPs will undertake an inquiry into the Competition Commission's report on the local bus services market.
The Competition Commission has reported on its lengthy investigation into the local bus services market in the UK and concluded that sustained head-to-head competition between bus operators was uncommon and that bus operators avoided competing in another operator's core territories in a cosy arrangement which was not in the best interests of passengers.

Automakers are expected to sell 1.65 million new cars in Italy this year, down from 1.75 million in 2011, according to UNRAE, the country's foreign automakers association.
The group says Italy's slowing economy and government austerity measures are denting consumer confidence.

Honda has sold more than 800,000 hybrid vehicles since the first generation Honda Insight hit the road in November 1999.
Honda was the first manufacturer in the world to launch a hybrid model and the Insight delivered 83 miles per gallon giving it the highest fuel economy among all petrol powered vehicles at the time and now sells seven hybrid models in 50 countries.

The Saab museum and contents has been saved from sell-off to help pay the car makers creditors.
The museum has been saved thanks to the city of Trollhättan, SAAB AB and The Wallenburg foundations. The trio paid over £2.6 million for the whole 120-car collection to remain in Trollhättan.
