An
exciting new special edition version of Chrysler's first supermini, Ypsilon,
has just been announced for sale in the UK this month.
Called
Black&Red, this latest edition is designed to attract new and different
customers to the model range and also to the Chrysler brand, which has just
been relaunched in the UK.
| | Appealing
to a broader audience, new Black&Red not only looks stunning, but is packed
with new features that focus on style, technology and value for money.
"We're
delighted to be launching this new addition to the popular Ypsilon line-up,"
says Nigel Land, brand director, Jeep Chrysler UK. "With additional equipment
worth more than £3000 packed into a car that starts from just £12,750, we
believe Black&Red will become a valuable member of the Ypsilon family."
Available
with a choice of three engines - 0.9-litre TwinAir and 1.2-litre petrol, and
1.3-litre MultiJet diesel - new Black&Red receives a raft of standard
interior features including black and red fabric seat upholstery, dashboard and
door linings, air conditioning, Blue&Me Bluetooth, and a 360-degree hi-fi system.
Outside,
the car gets black and red bi-colour paint, 16-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels,
fog lamps, black glass and body-coloured side skirts, all as standard.
And to
make the new car even more desirable, Chrysler is offering a zero deposit, £199
per month finance deal on the 1.2-litre version (£219 0.9-litre TwinAir, £239
1.3-litre).
On the
road pricing for new Ypsilon Black&Red is: 1.2
Petrol £12,750; 0.9 TwinAir £13,950 and 1.3 MultiJet £14,950. | | | As order books open for the all-new GS range, Lexus
can announce the sports saloon will be available from £32,995.
That is the
on-the-road price for the GS 250 SE; the full hybrid GS 450h starts from
£44,995 for the Luxury model.
True to Lexus tradition, the price tag includes a
high specification that is rich in advanced technology and luxury features,
combined with precision fit and finish and attention to detail. | | Moreover, the
new GS is the standard bearer for new Lexus design thinking that is more distinctive,
contemporary and eye-catching.
There is a six-model range - GS 250 SE, GS 250/450h
Luxury. GS 250/450h F Sport and GS 450h Premier - and deliveries begin
mid June.
| | | Audi has dropped the saloon version of the RS4 when the new series arrives this
September as an Avant tourer.
The new Audi RS 4 contradicts its distinctly
business-like first impressions with extreme sub-five-second zero to
| | 62mph pace,
174mph capability and exceptionally tenacious quattro all-wheel-drive handling.
The Audi RS 4 Avant uses the same high-revving,
naturally aspirated V8 engine that powers the RS 5 Coupe. The hand-built 4,163
cc unit with its distinctive red-painted cylinder covers produces 450 PS at
8,250 rpm and maximum torque of 430 Nm from 4,000 to 6,000 rpm, and powers the
RS 4 Avant from 0 to 62 mph in 4.7 seconds on its way to a governed top speed
of 155 mph, which can be increased to 174 mph if required.
No less impressively, it achieves all this while at
the same time potentially returning up to 25.7mpg according to the combined
cycle test. UK pricing and timings have yet to be finalised.
